An Everlasting Friendship WashU-Fudan EMBA Program Class 16 Disorientation Party
On September 2, 2018, the Washington University-Fudan University EMBA Program held the disorientation for its Class 16 students alongside the beautiful Huangpu River, celebrating the successful completion of all courses in China by its 66 students from this class. They will leave for the United States in October for a two-week US Residency, and complete their journey with a special commencement ceremony at the main campus of Washington University in St. Louis.
The event received great attention and support from the Fudan University and Washington University’s leaders. Professor Jim LITTLE (Academic Director of the WashU-Fudan EMBA Program); Professor Zhiwen YIN (Associate Dean of Fudan University School of Management); and Paul SHAO (Managing Director of the WashU-Fudan EMBA Program), congratulated the students on their completion of the courses in China, and wished them more surprises and rewards for their upcoming US residency.
Sixteen months of study time passed quickly. Looking back now, everyone felt that being able to know good schoolmates and harvest sincere and valuable friendships in the midlife is truly a fortune. The event was filled with laughter and reminiscence. While the scene of the start is still vivid in everyone’s mind, they are now prepared for a higher ladder and challenge in their career through the EMBA program, and are poised to get on their way.
Although the study time has not been long, just as what Class 16’s slogan says “Auld Lang Syne The Everlasting Class 16”. The mountains will keep lush and the rivers will last its flow - sincerely wish Class 16 an everlasting friendship!
